I have updated my instrument panel on the computer and it includes a few more sensors that were not previously integrated. I have also set up the sensors with the proper units rather than the pure voltage signal I was using originally. I have integrated the manifold pressure in PSI, distance in ft., wastegate solenoid simulation and other sensors in proper units. The wastegate solenoid control is event driven from the manifold pressure sensor. I arbitrarily set the threshold value to be -2.5PSI because I can test it - remember, I'm not boosting yet. :-( When the manifold pressure exceeds this point, the solenoid closes to allow manifold pressure/vacuum to reach the wastegate actuator. Of course, when the system is actually boosting, manifold pressure (not vacuum) will be routed to the wastegate actuator so as to bleed off some turbine RPM. But it will only hold the wastegates open until the pressure drops back to just below the value I set, then it cycles again. The card's response time is .0005s, (1/2000) so in reality, the wastegate control will be a very quick modulation of open/close to keep the manifold at the specified pressure. Here's the pics:This is at idle-
This is WOT at about 6500RPM.
